Fire protective boards
Geostaff fire protective boards, mainly made of gypsum and fibreglass, are intended for passive fire protection and are tested according to EN 1366-1 and EN 1366-8.
Our fire-protective boards from the GEOTEC® and GEOFLAM® ranges allow you to create various passive fire protection solutions: horizontal and vertical ventilation and smoke extraction ducts; protections for service ducts; protection of bonded carbon reinforcements; protection of cable trays, for a fire exposure time of 1 to 3 hours.
GEOTEC® fire protective boards can be joined using GEOCOL® glue and wood screws or by “polochons” or staples, whereas GEOFLAM® fire protective boards can only be joined using GEOCOL® glue and polochons*.
*Polochons: mixture of sisal fibre impregnated with plaster GEOPLASTRE®N
